Did you know the City of Uvalde has a golf cart ordinance? Do you know what is required to operate a golf cart within the city limits? Do you need a permit?
A licensed driver may operate a golf cart on a public roadway, within the boundaries of the city, for which the posted speed limit is not more tha 35 miles per hour, excluding state-maintained public highways. The golf cart must be equipped with the following:
*Headlamps
*Taillamp
*Reflectors
*Parking break
*Mirrors
*Display a slow moving-vehicle emblem
ATV’s/UTV’s cannot legally be driven on roadways inside the city limits.
